Helmets to HardhatsThe Arizona State Building and Construction Trades Council partners with Helmets to Hardhats to assist Arizona military servicemen and servicewomen with quality career options as they transition into civilian life.

Helmets to Hardhats
Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano, along with officials from Helmets to Hardhats, the United Association of the Plumbing & Pipefitting Industry, and the Arizona State Building & Construction Trades Council commemorate a new statewide agreement for streamlining returning veterans and other discharged military personnel into the construction trades.

Helmets to Hardhats is a national program that connects National Guard, Reserve and transitioning active-duty military members with excellent career training and employment opportunities within the construction industry. The program is administered by the Center for Military Recruitment, Assessment, and Veterans Employment and headquartered in Washington, D.C. Direction for management of the center comes from a board of trustees comprised of equal numbers of employer and labor trustees. Learn more
